“In under forty-eight hours, our accomplices took care of business and donated all the packaging materials for the ‘Bottle Your Charity’ Campaign,” said Milbrandt Vineyards Financial Planning Director David Standerford. “It’s inspiring to see such a large number of individuals getting involved to help those in need.”
Washington winery Milbrandt Vineyards has focused on producing up to 9,000 bottles of Sparkling Rosé to help advantage the winning charity of the winery’s debut “Bottle Your Charity” Video and Photo Contest. The mark of the Sparkling Rosé, the first sparkling wine in the Milbrandt Vineyards portfolio, will feature the mission of the winning charity, and the name of the person who submitted the entry.
Milbrandt Vineyards will sell the wine. Direct donations from the wine purchases go to the charity. The charity and the person who submitted the winning photo or video will also get a release party. Anybody can enter by simply submitting a video or photo that captures the essence of his or her preferred charity. Entries are accepted at MyCharity.MilbrandtVineyards.com. Entry deadline is October first and the voting deadline is October tenth. The winner will be revealed November fifteenth without further ado followed by the wine release.
The campaign just launched and has officially received pivotal support. One hundred per cent of packaging material for the Sparkling Rosé has been donated. TricorBraun is donating every one of the bottles. Marks West is donating every one of the names that will reflect the hues or themes of the triumphant charity. Cork Supply is donating every one of the corks and cages.
With the mission of the charity on the labels, the bottles themselves become a marketing device to help spread the news and generate donations for the cause.
“We are giving back to the communities that helped set our family-owned winery up for life through our ‘Bottle Your Charity’ contest,” said Butch Milbrandt. “If not for the help of others, our winery would not be the place it is today. We are hoping to develop this campaign each year so as to feature a few charities on our bottles to raise familiarity with their missions.”
“It’s 9,000 bottles of love,” said Milbrandt Vineyards Public Relations Director Stacy Bellew. “The ‘Jug Your Charity’ Campaign is a piece of our larger mission to inspire humanity both in and outside the jug. Today, non-profits are confronting enormous operational challenges. A campaign like this can have an effect on a charity picking between hiring talented coordinators or sacrificing an advertising effort.”
